Nothing went as planned...

Nothing went as planned…

Nothing went as planned, and that’s the best thing that ever happened to us!

After finishing our studies, we shared a common dream: to go to the United States to launch a business—a French dining concept.
We took a year and a half to get started: resuming a culinary diploma, seeking funding, making trips to the United States to meet with lawyers, real estate agents, and French expatriates.

All of this was done with the sole aim of being ready and having everything organized…
💥 As often happens in life, nothing went as expected. Between administrative hassles, unsuccessful decisions, unforeseen events, and roadblocks, our American project never saw the light of day, and we lost a lot of money.
This situation, often perceived as a failure, was a blessing for me, and here’s what I learned:
👉 Every unexpected event, every obstacle is a disguised opportunity. They are part of the journey and often lead you to places you never even imagined going.
👉 The key to success lies in the ability to adapt, to keep pushing doors open, and to make bold decisions.
👉 Prioritize speed and efficiency; perfection takes too long. The market evolves rapidly—No one is waiting for you—Resources are always limited at the beginning.
👉 Mistakes should not be regretted; they should be embraced. The opposite leads to a negative cycle, while owning them allows you to reclaim the situation.

Today, the Marinette biscuit factory is an exhilarating adventure, born from our choices and perseverance. We would never have arrived here without that previous experience. Never.

There are no failures or bad choices, only successful iterations.

If you’re going through moments where everything seems to go off the rails, remember that it’s likely the beginning of a positive transformation ☀️.
